Catch Report

Millstone Pool. Steve Hinks and wife Tracey fished the first week of September. Its always difficult having the lake to yourself as the fish find it easy to move away from any angling pressure. However fishing from swim 11 and alternating between shallower and deeper water whilst keeping baiting and disturbance to a minimum Steve manged 18 takes and 17 fish landed. Recent spawning has seen fish weights down slightly but 8 over forty was good going. The best carp going 48.10, 48.06 common, 44.04, 43.06, 41.06 common, 41.02, 41, 40.04 plus 7 over thirty to 39lbs.

Steve used DNA S7 boilies with wafter hook baits.
